Sabine Mirza

Sabine Mirza holds a BA in Public Administration with an emphasis in Public Policy and a double minor in International Law and Political Studies. Throughout her studies, she developed a passion for sustainable development and the role of policymakers in promoting social and environmental responsibility.

After graduating, Sabine had the opportunity to work at UNDP & UN-Habitat on the Municipal Empowerment Resilience Project (MERP), where she gained valuable experience in the field of municipal governance. She was part in the strengthening and enhancement of the functioning of the Regional Technical Offices (RTO), with the aim of empowering union of municipalities in emergency responses, planning, and development. She was able to see first-hand the positive impact that good governance can have on communities.

Since joining Capital Concept, she has put her interest in both environmental advocacy and public policy to good use. As a consultant, she is responsible for researching the latest legal and regulatory ESG developments, developing ESG methodologies, and helping companies implement recommendations and draft policies.

Sabine’s advocacy for change pushed her to serve as the Director of Community Service at Rotaract Club de Beyrouth and to join the 2023 Max Thabiso Edkins Climate Ambassador Program, aiming at catalyzing youth climate leadership and taking meaningful climate action both in the community and globally. Sabine is an adamant public speaker and has hosted several renowned events and charities.
